Kilmelford Yacht haven is situated in a stunning location at the head of Loch Melfort. The bay offers a sheltered area in which to moor your vessel. An ideal base to explore the beautiful west coast. We have a myriad of small islands and inlets to visit within a short distance of the yacht haven for day sailing .There are a number of things to do around the area, Arduaine Garden, Kilmartin Museum, Lots of interesting mapped walks, boat trips to the Corryvreckan (whirlpool) to name a few. We also have a community Skiff based at the Yacht Haven, this can be used by visitors, great for adults and children alike. Customers are welcome to work on their own boats, we have plenty of space and expert advice is readily available. the yard offers ample parking space, easy access from the main road for cars, lorries, trailers etc. KYH is situated two and half hours to the west of Glasgow and less than two hours from Stirling. There are regular flights from the south of England with good rail and bus links to Oban, and a regular bus service from Oban and Lochgilphead to KYH (we are also happy to collect you from Oban or Lochgilphead with prior arrangement).
